Click and drag to position it wherever you’d like, and use the squares on the corners and sides to resize it. Your text box will now appear in your document. Once you’re happy with how your text box looks, click “Save and Close” in the top right corner of the drawing dialogue box. Want to add a splash of color or a border? Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the text box, and you’ll find options to customize the fill color, border color, border weight, and border dash. You can adjust the font, size, and other formatting options just like you would with regular text in Google Docs. Step 4: Enter Your TextĬlick inside the text box and start typing your text.
